autoresponders and blog feeds
If you're thinking about running email marketing within your business then you've probably heard of autoresponders. We're not talking here about the emails that tell your clients that you're on holiday when they email you (there is a lot of confusion here!), we call these auto-replies (out of office auto-replies).

Autoresponders are automated emails based on a trigger. That trigger can be a number of things depending on how you run your marketing.
It could be:
- a new email address collected by your sales team
- someone that has purchased something from your online store
- a new database of emails that you have purchased
- people who have contacted you from your website
- someone who filled out a webform / pop-up form on your website
- someone who is "unsubscribing" from your mailing list
Whatever it might be, your subscribers will receive email from you without you having to do a thing! Does that sound good? We thought so, but guess what... it's not that easy! You have to write the emails in the first place. That means sitting down and deciding what content to deliver. Will people read it? Will they click through and will they buy / contact you?
All very good questions and only ones that you can answer once you've given it a go. As with all marketing, this is trial and error. If it's not working to your satisfaction then amend it.
The great thing with this type of marketing is that the responses are instantaneous. You will know straight away what is working and what is not.
At Market More, we've been doing this for years. We offer a free trial of our email marketing system and also training courses on how to make email marketing work for you.
blog feed integration
If you are already active on the web and are dabbling with web 2.0 then you may be writing a blog. Perhaps your blog is integrated with your company website? Ok, so your moving forward nicely with this new technology, however, have you thought about how to get this great new content that you put hours of effort into out there to your subscribers, your client base, your prospects?
Email marketing provides a way to do this at low cost, driving visitors back to your website to read more great things about you. But what if you automated this? A weekly email scheduled at a convenient time with your new content from your blog or RSS feeds sent straight to your contact list could be just the ticket.
Market More's blog feed integration allows you to:
- schedule blog / RSS distribution
- weekly or monthly timescales
- no new entry suppression
