email deliverability using market more email marketing

Deliverability

Getting your emails through to your target audience is absolutely imperative to any email campaign, in exactly the same way as traditional marketing involved with getting that mail piece onto the desk of your target audience.

A number of factors must work together in order to achieve this.

  1. The sending server must not be blacklisted. Consider using SMTP.com if you are sending huge numbers of emails from bought in lists.
  2. The email address must be correct - market more handles and processes bounces for you, so even if you send to an address that is incorrect then you won't be bombarded with email bounce backs.
  3. Your content must not be seen as SPAM - Market More has built in SPAM checkers that look at your content and rate it in terms of it's likelihood to be treated as SPAM. Simply changing a few words can make a big difference.
  4. Send your emails at a sensible time. 3am on Sunday morning will not get the greatest open and click through rates, even if you happen to be writing your great content then. Using the Market More scheduling system, arrange for your emails to arrive at that quiet Tuesday morning over the 11am coffee break. Of course think about your target audience. If they are also likely to be up at 3am on a Sunday morning (for whatever reason) then that's a great time to email them.
  5. Use an attention grabbing subject. Getting people to open emails once they arrive is a whole field in itself. Perhaps attending one of our email marketing training courses would help you to get your content read by your target audience.

If you have any doubts as to whether your emails will get through then why not have a free trial of Market More and give it a shot. Send mail to your hotmail and gmail accounts too and watch them beat the SPAM filters!

If they're not getting through then try the SPAM checker in Market More. If you need any help then get in touch and we will guide you through the process.
